Neue Helvetica Arabic has been released
“The design brief was clear:
1. Design a typeface that would be the Arabic companion to Neue Helvetica.
2. The Arabic version would be true to Arabic script aesthetics and be able to function on its own as well.
3. The Latin and Arabic can be used at the same point size, with the same weight and optical size.
4. The typeface would translate the Helvetica concept into Arabic, especially its neutrality, formality, and ability to be used for a multitude of projects.”Read Nadine Chanine’s article on I Love Typography.

LOLOL i was going to make a christmas list post, but then tumblr completed my text for me when i started typing christmas.

this is pretty amazing especially is you are familiar with the time and procees it takes with the letterpress and hand-binding.
coptic binding is the best! hers looks better than my hierarchy book did

Yesterday was the last day of the semester. I slept 3 hours Tuesday night. And didn’t sleep again until Thursday afternoon.
this was one of my favorite pictures taken during the trip. looking at Tristan’s album has given me a huge wave of memories. I want to go home and find all of my pictures. All like 300 of them. lol.
