fletter: evrt: Here is the official poster for the Vancouver 2010 Olympics: there are two halves, and the bottom image is a detail. This is a really great poster in my mind, especially after seeing all of the detail. There appears to be a lot of controversy over it (the maple leaf being split), but none the less, I think it is pretty spectacular. Unlike the London 2012 identity, this doesn’t make me want to convulse in an epileptic seizure fit, although it might be a little precious, I like it. There’s so much fine detail in there…and is that painted on plywood? is that a float plane? I want to see this at full size. The detail in this is amazing, but I agree that the London 2012 indentity is beyond amazing.
